Well, obviously I have no idea how to give a better title for my first post in 2021, and also my first post after I’ve last written any blog entry here. Entri ini bakal ngomongin opiniku tentang aturan nulis show don’t tell secara general—aturan yang bikin aku gamang dan galau tingkat nasional ( halah ) sepanjang akhir tahun 2020 kemarin. Aku juga bakal ngasih contoh dari beberapa novel yang aku suka dan ceritanya bagus, tanpa bermaksud menjatuhkan cerita-cerita lain because this is purely what I think . Sebelum ke bahasan utama, aku juga mau bilang gimana aku udah berproses sama hobi nulisku sepanjang dua tahun belakangan. Aku lebih banyak nulis fanfic di AO3, dan aku rasa tahun 2020 kemarin adalah puncak saat aku merasa paling wah dan betah. Aku mulai nyoba pindah fandom, dan with all the celestial powers , aku pengen banget pamer tulisanku di sini, but I just can’t. And simply won’t . :) Pokoknya, aku menikmati banget nulis di AO3. Several days ago, I have just posted the last chapter of one of my stories on Wattpad,  Invalid , and it just dawns on me that, yea, I will write this topic and how making mistakes should not be my biggest fear in writing stories anymore. Just to illustrate the background of all this, I used to think so hard before posting my stories on Wattpad, since five years ago(?). That has become a habit since I read a lot of writing tips and how my stories shouldn’t be embarrassing, and how it should be—well, you know—perfect. I expect a lot from myself, and I do enjoy writing as best as I can. What differentiates my habit several years ago with now is that I did what I could, as best as I could. I cared about grammar, my characters, the research I should do, and I posted it. If there was a mistake, then I tried to fix it. Hey-o~! I really want to do something like this and I come up with this wrap-up ideas because it was quite hard to focus on the positivity only without comparing other things; so here I go. >3< I’ll make several lists of some great and wonderful things that happened to me during 2018; and I wish that it’s beneficial to everyone who reads, everyone in general, or just me, at least. >w< 1. Dalam sejarah per- bibliophile -an(?)ku, baru tahun ini dan bulan ini aku ngadopsi delapan buku sekaligus! Semua berawal pas aku tahu ada promo novel YARN dan Bluestroberi (terbitan Ice Cube Publisher) yang bakal diobral seharga dua puluh ribuan. Pas tanggal 4 Juni 2018 lalu, aku sempat beli Diary Princesa -nya Swistien Kustantyana, Spacious Love -nya Citra Rizcha, dan Rust in Pieces -nya Nel Falisha. Aku beli bareng temenku, dan sebelum bayar, dia sempat nanya, “Udah? Nggak kurang?” Dan, seperti yang bisa ditebak, aku mantap jawab enggak. Nggak taunya, diskon itu berjalan sampe sekarang, bulan Agustus. Aku tahu dari salah satu story Instagram, di akun @aquaniin, yang waktu itu memvideo Gramedia Basuki Rahmat di lantai 3. Otomatis mataku langsung melek semelek-meleknya, jelalatan nggak keruan, dan dorongan untuk kalap itu mulai melanda. Aku kira, stok buku YARN dan Bluestroberi di Malang udah habis.
