What I Wish I Had Known Years Ago Before Writing

Several days ago, I have just posted the last chapter of one of my stories on Wattpad,  Invalid , and it just dawns on me that, yea, I will write this topic and how making mistakes should not be my biggest fear in writing stories anymore. Just to illustrate the background of all this, I used to think so hard before posting my stories on Wattpad, since five years ago(?). That has become a habit since I read a lot of writing tips and how my stories shouldn’t be embarrassing, and how it should be—well, you know—perfect. I expect a lot from myself, and I do enjoy writing as best as I can. What differentiates my habit several years ago with now is that I did what I could, as best as I could. I cared about grammar, my characters, the research I should do, and I posted it. If there was a mistake, then I tried to fix it. I remember writing something wrong about human’s body temperature in  First Love First  until a reader reminded me about it; and how I wrote NaOH ins...

Jingga Untuk Matahari: A Review

Eh, what could I say? Secara keseluruhan, baca buku ini tuh... melelahkan. And I just don’t know how or when to stop , wkwkwk. :) Banyak banget hal yang kurang cocok sama aku dari cerita JUM ini, despite I still give it three stars . Mulai dari judul yang kurang sesuai dan blurb yang agak-agak tricky dan nipu, plot dan gaya bahasa yang “kedodoran”, sampe porsi tiap tokoh yang timpang. Aku bakal bahas satu per satu serunut mungkin ya, tapi kalo di tengah-tengah agak ngomongin pengalaman dan kesan selama baca ya, please bear with me . Hehe.

2018 Wrap Up

Hey-o~! I really want to do something like this and I come up with this wrap-up ideas because it was quite hard to focus on the positivity only without comparing other things; so here I go. >3< I’ll make several lists of some great and wonderful things that happened to me during 2018; and I wish that it’s beneficial to everyone who reads, everyone in general, or just me, at least. >w< 1. True Love Drama Yasss, people!! True Love squad/drama crews & actors/actresses and the process behind it has made me learned a lot of things. This was the first happiest moment in 2018 that I would cherish again and again; and though I’m aware that producing drama costs a lot of energy and time, I do enjoy it. I’m grateful for it. It turns out to be very beneficial for the present and future me. >w< I used to think that what would benefit me was the fact that I wrote the script, so what’s beneficial is only the writing part. Turns out that it’s not that simple...

Remedy: A Somewhat Rave Review

It’s so rare to see me writing a review on my blog, what with my constant(?) update on Goodreads. Wkwk. But there’re several reasons as to why I turn the tide a bit: 1) I have a lot of things to say—which can still be managed on Goodreads, but yeah, it seems that blogspot has an easier way to contain such longer posts; 2) I would also like to talk about some input I’ve got so far—be it from others’ influence or my own opinion, and this might end up in a kind of heart-to-heart talking, so I think blog entry would be more comfortable and on point; 3) Navin!! Tania!! The famous chapter   18 that made my heart went uwuwuwu!! I just can’t!   This world has done me justice, y’all . (ง ° ͜ ʖ °)ง   i'm sorry the quality isn't that good; i'm too lazy to take pictures outside  (๑•́ ₃ •̀๑) First thing first, I would like to highlight some things before we go to the rave review. As a reader who enjoys so many good stories, I still believe that “language and l...
